A good copy, in a good dust jacket, of the first edition. The bright blue cloth binding is clean and unbumped, with gleaming gilt lettering to the spine, and square corners. The lovely pictorial endpapers are clean and uncracked. The contents are fresh and bright with no markings other than a small bookseller's label to the front pastedown. The dust jacket is unclipped (R5.50) and shows minimal of edgewear. Just a little scuffing in places. From the blurb: "In these pages are some of the inner secrets of South African history from the days of the Jameson Raid and the South African War to the launching of Rand Mines and the attempt to assassinate Lionel Phillips".
