The Corporation (2-Disc Special Edition, Second Hand DVD)

The Corporation 2-Disc Special Edition (Second Hand DVD)

An acclaimed and provocative documentary examining the modern corporation, presented here in an extensive 2-disc Special Edition featuring approximately eight hours of bonus material.

The Corporation explores the history, development and extraordinary influence of the modern corporation on society. Using the idea of the corporation as a legal "person" as its starting point, the documentary examines what kind of personality such an institution might possess when judged by established psychological criteria.

Directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott and based on the book by Joel Bakan, the film combines interviews, historical material and case studies to investigate corporate power, behaviour and its impact on individuals, communities and the wider world.

The documentary features contributions from a wide range of commentators and public figures, including Noam Chomsky, Michael Moore, Naomi Klein, Milton Friedman and Howard Zinn.

This copy is the 2-Disc Special Edition, featuring the main documentary together with an extensive collection of interviews, commentary, deleted material and additional features totalling approximately eight hours of bonus content.
