Dust Jacket in Very Good condition. Small closed tear to top edge near spine on front cover. Light edge-wear and rubbing to top of DJ spine; very light rubbing along the hinges. Rubbing and scuffing to fore-edge hinges of DJ. Heavy foxing on inside of DJ.
Binding tight, intact. Boards are reasonably crisp and clean with no shelf- or edge-wear; only some light age-related toning, mostly the spine, and a smallish brown stain to the edge at upper corner of back cover. Author name and title bright and crisp in black lettering on spine. Upper corner of rear cover lightly bumped, other corners sharp. A broad band of tanning running the length of front and rear free endpapers, with some light foxing. Heavier foxing on verso front free endpapers and half-title, fading towards margins on the title and contents pages. Occasional light foxing throughout the text but mostly clean. Heavier foxing again on the final pages of the book. Previous owner name stamp on title page. Text block complete. No loose or missing pages. No tears. No inscriptions, no underlining, no highlighting, no marginalia.
