Hardcover first published 1955 by The Bodley Head. The card jacket is price-clipped, but otherwise whole, with several small tears to the edges, and is rubbed in places. The spine is sunned. The boards are neat, clean and square. Apart from being generally aged, all pages are clean and unmarked. "The Crooked Bluegum is a story of the Borderline - the line that divides White from non-White in South Africa."
