1st edition hardcover with dust jacket - 1989 Hodder & Stoughton (guild) This is the true 1st edition, which preceded the USA edition by a few weeks - 413 pages, Large & heavy book 24cm x 16cm x 4cm thick. Black boards with gold gilt lettering to the spine. Condition: Excellent. Yellowing on edges of pages. A few very small white smudges to black boards. A bit of shelf wear to dust jacket. Spine rolled a bit. A little dusty ( been packed away for 20 years) NO tears and not price clipped.
