Hardcover first published 1951 by Michael Joseph, no jacket. The boards are marked and worn, with a large darker stain to two edges of the rear one, and the spine is heavily cocked. Blank white label stuck to inside front board, and the first end-paper has been removed, a stub remaining. Small stamp and lettering to inside rear board. Light shelf soil to top external page edges, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.
