" There are many books out there with dream decoding, but this book was different. It was a history on how dreams are important to other cultures, and in history where dreams first took place. It also teaches you how to increase your chances of dreaming each night, and increase your remembering skills. It does also touch on the basics of what things could mean in your dream, but it doesn't go into detail. As the book says, you can not go on general meanings because each dream is different to the dreamer. If you dream about dogs in one dream and it has a meaning special to you, your friend could have a dream about dogs in a different aspect than you. You are your own dreamer.

For someone who dreams every night and very vividly it was a fun read to see what I could do to increase remembering, and to keep a dream journal. One of the most interesting things I read in the book was about dream bread. It's a mechanism that will help you dream what you want to dream. You take a normal bread recipe, and bake the bread. As you mold the bread, do not talk but think of the dream you wish to have that night. If you talk to anyone during the molding, then you lose the purpose of the exercise. Once the bread is baked, slice it into three pieces and think of three different things you wish to include in your dream. Eat a piece of those three sections and put the rest under your pillow. I don't know who would actually put bread under their pillow, but I thought this was an interesting way to increase your dreaming and what you want to have accomplished in each dream.

The only down fall of the book is that it took me a little while to get through it because it read like a text book. The pictures were beautiful, but it was hard to get through after a long day at work. Other wise, the book is a great addition to anyone's dream book collection."
