The Encyclopaedia Britannica, A Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, Literature and General Information, The eleventh edition, hand volume issue consisting of 29 volumes including an index then a further 3 volumes which makes up the 12th edition which consists of that work, and also supplying a new, distinctive, and independant library of reference dealing with events and developments of the period 1910 to 1921 inclusive. total nbr of volumes 32

All volumes are in red cover boards with gold writing to the spine, spines have faded & show wear mainly at the top of spine but rest of books is sound, bindings are tight & strong, there are no marks or inscriptions, all maps & pullouts are present, the additional 3 volumes which constitute the set to be the 12th edition have some very nice colour maps including one of Africa.
