This is the complete 4 volume set of The Encyclopedia of South African Post Offices and Postal Agencies by Ralph Putzel. Even after more than 30 years since publication these remain the go-to resource for anyone collecting or interested in South African post offices and postal agencies, their history and their cancellations.
Volume 1 is fairly easy and cheap to find but the volumes get progressively more difficult to find and expensive and Volume 4 is especially hard to find.
Many of these books no longer have their dust jackets but this set is complete with dust jackets although a little worn. The pages are in very good and clean condition. The spines have good colour, not faded like many others.
