This amazingly old antiquarian book has its original leather binding but has had the spine area repaired - I think it has been rebound completely but using as much of the original binding as possible. It has obviously age toned.

The full title:

The Experienced English Housekeeper for the Use and Ease of Ladies, Housekeepers, Cooks, &c. Written purely from Practice; Dedicated to the Hon. Lady Elizabeth Warburton, Whonm the Author Lately Served a Housekeeper. Consisting of Several Hundred Original Receipt, most of which never appeared in print.

There is a little handwritten note stating how this book belonged to a relative of the time, this was obviously bought as a new book by her. A lovely little personal touch to an incredible glimpse into a bygone time. Has a few fold-outs of place settings that are remarkably intact. this book is on offer elsewhere on the internet for $380. It really is a piece of history that won't be unearthed too easily again.
