What a find . The owner had a vast book collection of which I was lucky to acquire only a few . I acquired these from his wife who is aged 74 and still farming outside Montagu . The books have been sitting on the shelf for the past 20 years since the owners death .

This book covers basically every aspect of the development of the Firestone tire , the inventor , his life and times , the markets at that stage and how the brand was turned into an empire .
