Hardcover first published in 1952 by H.F. & G. Witherby Ltd. The jacket is worn and marked in places, with chips and tears to edges, and the spine is discoloured. The blue cloth boards with gilt spine titling and fish design are worn and faded, with fraying at the head of the spine. Foxing and tanning to endpapers, and book seller label pasted to inside front board, that has stuck to the page opposite, and caused some damage to the page edge. Name of previous owner in pen on the first endpaper. 276 pages including index, many black and white photographs and sketches.
