The clipped card jacket is otherwise whole, but marked and worn with several chips and short tears to edges and folds, and the spine is sunned. The black boards with gilt titling are clean and square. Name of previous owner to first end-paper. Narrow band of staining to inside rear paste-down. There are numerous underlinings throughout the book in pencil, and a very few in pen.
