Hardcover, no jacket in pretty good condition for its age - some rubbing to the cloth covers especially on the spine edges. The book has hinged but all the binding is still tight. The frontispiece map has obviously torn a bit and has been repaired with sticky tape. It is still complete. There is an enormous fold out map at the back that had minor sticky tape repairs.
