The German Official Account of the War in South Africa

This book "is probably one of the most significant books written about the Second Anglo-Boer War. The reason is that it was not written by one of the interested parties but by outlookers: trained military observers." Both volumes here reproduced in one, a facsimile of these volumes originally prepared in the Historical Section of the Great General Staff, Berlin, 1904.

Copy 0346 of a limited edition of 1000 published by Scripta Africana June 1986, cased in a lightly worn slipcase with sunned edges. Full leather with gilt spine titling and German imperial eagle on the front. A separate card folder contains 18 fold-out maps.
