A scattering of foxing on the boards; insides of the edges more heavily foxed. Corners sharp. Aside from foxing, the boards are crisp and clean (no other stains, no edge-wear, not shelf-rubbed). Edges of text block heavily foxed. Foxing around edges of pastedown, front and rear, with heavy foxing around edges of rear free endpaper. Lower right corners of prelims and introductory pages foxed. Photographic plates clean and bright--not foxed or stained. Persistent foxing throughout text block, mostly limited to a scattering round the edges of the pages, but occasionally also migrating onto the margins. The leaves are otherwise crisp and clean. No other stains, no inscriptions, no underlining or highlighting, no annotations or marginalia. Binding secure, no loose, missing, or torn pages.

Jacket condition: Slight fading to spine, and foxing to very edges of jacket only--otherwise intact, like new. Price sticker on the back.
