Condition: Good.

Boards are shelf-worn. Lightly soiled around the edges with small dampstain to fore-edge. Light scuffing to head and heel of spine and corners, bumbed; boards edgeworn, rubbed at the heel. Spine faded and soiled. Gilt lettering rubbed, faded but still legible. Spine slightly cocked.

Light foxing to edges of text block.

Two previous owners' signatures and book store sticker on pastedown, Price covered with black marker top corner of f.f. endpaper. Faint stains on lower edge of pastedown, otherwise endpapers free of foxing or tanning. Rear endpapers pristine.

Binding is not as tight as is desirable--but remains secure. 

No loose or missing pages. No tears

Persistent foxing reccurs throughout the text block--on the faint side, usually, but extensive.
