Jonathan Chester is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, and works as a naturalist and historian on polar tourist cruises. He has been lecturing on adventure in the Antarctic, the Himalaya, and photography for over 15 years. This book is an introduction to trekking and climbing across the Himalaya, from Pakistan to Tibet. It gives practical details and some great colour photos. It also has some great stories written by climbers and trekkers like Doug Scott, Sorrel Wilby and Lincoln Hall.
