THE WIFE
Hlomu the wife is essentially a love story that takes its cues from life in a South African township. A young woman named Mahlomu meets Mqhele Zulu and they fall in love. Even though aspects of Mqhele's personality and past make her uncomfortable, Hlomu is happy. Their love is strong and they stand by each other through good and bad. But Mqhele and his seven brothers have a dark and tumultuous past that involves a dead warlord father, mob justice, and lots of unaccountedfor money. The Zulu brothers are rich, handsome, powerful and dangerous. They eventually become one of the wealthiest and most powerful families in Johannesburg, but the inherent danger remains

ZANDILE THE RESOLUTE
Zandile the resolute continues the story of the eight Zulu brothers. Rich, handsome, powerful, dangerous and the wealthiest and most powerful families in Johannesburg, Zandile is the wife of the first brother Nkosana, their love story is like a South African township Romeo and Juliet, their families hate each other but their love is so strong, it endures all the hatred, the deaths and even prison time.

NALEDI HIS LOVE
The epic love story centred on eight Zulu men, whose surname is Zulu, continues, Naledi his love, focuses on Qhawe and the woman he comes to love, Naledi. She like Hlomu and Zandile come to understand that loving one of the Zulu brothers means loving all of his dark and tumultuous past and as much as she will enjoy the trappings that comes with being the wife of one of those rich, handsome, powerful and dangerous men. she also has to accept and live with the inherent danger that remains.

IQUNGA
He is speaking in a hushed tone, as if this is a forbidden subject. "He said there were twins here, boys. He said their father died on the day they were born." He stops and squints as if trying to remember something. "I'm not sure if I'm getting the story right, but there were other twins before, but they all died. The father must have done something because these two lived, only them, and then he died. They were good children, that's what my father said, but then one day they must have been 14 years old..." He stops when he hears a gasp.
"What happened? What did they do?" Qhawe asks. "They killed a priest. He was one of those that were recruiting people o join a church, and most people here believed him and followed him. He built a school and stuff. The twins went to that school. But he must have made them very angry because..." "How did they kill him?"-Mqhele
The man shrugs before he speaks. "From what I was told, they slit his throat and left him sitting on a chair, bleeding to death." There's silence. The man is telling the story like its an urban legend, but they know, it is a familiar one. "Is that what you wanted to know?" the man asks, looking at Sisekelo. He doesn't answer. "So, what happened to the twins' mother?" Qhawe asks. The man sighs deeply. "They burnt her alive."

MESS
One of the few guys with no tattoos has been staring at my sneakers for too long and I know he's trying to figure me out. I have four tattoos, and they are all on my arms. Maybe that will work in my favour, at least they show I can stand pain.
I will stand here, in the corner, for the whole night if I have to. I have slept under bridges, I have killed men with their eyes looking into mine. I am Nomafu's son.
A cold hand over my mouth and a tight grip pulling my arms back are nothing compared to the knife going repeatedly into my thighs.
They aren't trying to kill me, that I know for sure, because otherwise he would have gouged that knife into my heart by now. The stabs in my thighs are continuous but not deep. I can feel them. It's my blood they want to see, not my dead body lying on the floor.

THE END
"Do you remember the life we dreamed
of? The things we did, hoping we'd achieve that life? The blood we've spilled? The things we have survived? The bodies buried under our Muldersdrift house everything Qhawe, everything we have ever done and what we did it for, throwing your child in the fire would have given us that. A peaceful and safe life. "What is he talking about? "We were roaming around, and I was fine with that, but you decided to bring them into our lives the ancestors and all that. We were fine not honouring them Qhawe because what
have they ever done for us? Why did we have to slaughter goats and burn incense for them? Our mother chose Sbopho over us. What reason did you have to honour her?"
"Bafo?"
"What reason, Qhawe? Now they keep taking and taking from us. Our children, Qhawe. And they won't stop because the person they really want is Hlomu.
