The jacket is unclipped, with minor wear, chips and short tears along edges, and bookseller price label to front flap, and is protected in a removable plastic sleeve. Original green cloth with silver spine titling, edgeworn, with several minor marks in places. Pictorial two-colour endpapers, and green top-stained pages. Name of a previous owner in pen on the reverse of the first endpaper, and a gift inscription on the page opposite, that also contains minor smudges / stains at the bottom of the page. as do the following three pages, including the half-title page. Several black and white line drawings by the author, as well as full page colour plates.
