ALTHOUGH THIS ITEM COULD POSSIBLY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED EARLIER THAN MID CENTURY, OTHERS OF AN ALMOST IDENTICAL NATURE AND APPEARANCE ARE CONSIDERED LATE 1800's TO EARLY 1900's, SOME LIST THE DATE AS 1940-1950's

THE ITEM IS A VINTAGE BELLOWS MANUFACTURED FROM WOOD WITH GENUINE RED LEATHER ATTACHED BY MEANS OF BRASS STUDS. THE HANDLE, CENTER AND FRONT ARE BRASS CLAD AND THE BRASS HAS BEEN BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED IN REPOUSSE CRAFT WITH A HAMMERED METAL PATTERN ON THE HANDLE PORTION, A SCENERY DEPICTING A HUNTER RETURNING HOME WITH HIS "CATCH" WHILE HIS WIFE AND CHILD ARE SEATED UPON A BENCH ASSUREDLY HAVING WAITED FOR HIS RETURN AND A ROCOCO SCROLL PATTERN ON THE FRONT PORTION

STAMPS/MARKS ETC : THE BELLOWS IS NOT MARKED OR STAMPED

CONDITION : THE OPENING AT THE FRONT HAS A SERIES OF SMALL DENTS ASIDE FROM WHICH THE BELLOWS FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY AND IS IN PERFECT CONDITION WITHOUT ANY OTHER DAMAGES ETC
