Our Collapsible Meditation Stools are made in South Africa using a high quality Bamboo with a ProNature eco-friendly application for its finish. We chose to use Bamboo because it is a renewable resource that can be harvested without damaging the environment.

This Meditation Stool is slightly different to the original Japanese model, in that we have put a curve on the edge and raised the seat so that people with large calves can fit easily underneath it. The angle is very specific because it allows the meditator to quickly find the optimal pelvic position on which to start resting their vertebrae one at a time thereby releasing structural tension.

A drawstring bag is supplied with the Meditation Stool for easy transportation.
