Ken Oosterbroek, was a legendary South African photojournalist and member of the "Bang-Bang Club." He worked for The Star in Johannesburg and won numerous awards for his work. Picture editor at the time of his death, he was killed in cross-fire between NPKF members and hostel dwellers in Tokoza just before the 1994 elections. This book is simultaneously a tribute to Ken's work and an exploration into the darker reaches of a nation's soul. Large format hard cover with dust jacket published by Kwela Books, 1998. 144 pages.
