An EXTREMELY Rare Antique WC Framed in a SOLID WOOD antique frame (by Shepherd & Barker Ltd, Essanby House, JHB)
A Label at the Back of the Piece states the name of the Framers as above.....as well as the artist being HOPKINS. After careful research the style, size and Watercolor method is that of Arthur Hopkins. The title of the piece is also stated on the back as being -- "The Jackville Children" and I believe this to have been a commissioned work by the Artist. If the work has a signature it will be underneath the Frame which I do not wish to remove
