The Joy of Sex was the first real adult sex information book ever published. Much had, of course, been written about sex techniques and sexual problems and the biology of reproduction, but this book was unique in the wide range of subjects it discussed in unanxious practical detail, and in its reassuring authority and sense of fun. Sensitively executed line drawings capture in full, frank detail the intimacy of the act of love.

Book and dust wrapper both in good condition. The pages within are clean and unmarked, and the binding is sound. The wrapper has edge wear, including several small tears, but is protected by a removable, clear plastic cover of archival quality.
