WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 15TH 18th, 1884, published in Cape Town, original, 8 pages, complete, 22.3 cms x 29 cms,  overall condition: very good.

The famous  cartoonist, D.C. Boonzaier had drawn amateur caricatures since 1884 He was inspired by the work of William Schroder, a cartoonist and publisher of the humorous weekly, The Knobkerrie, whom he later met when a work of his was accepted for publication.

I have not come across another original copy of ths important cape weekly.
