Supernatural thriller. The film begins as music critic Alan (Randy Schulman) takes his wife Sarah (Diane Dalton) to Italy in an attempt to help her deal with some unspoken tragedy. Before leaving, Alan arranges for Kelly (Lindsey Haun), a house sitter, to take care of their Portland home while they are away. Left with an empty house, Kelly invites her brother Tim (RJ Mitte) and boyfriend Jesse (Blake Berris) over to keep her company. All is well until one day Jesse decides to kidnap a child, Adam (Micah Nelson), from the supermarket and take him back to the house. With Adam's arrival things take a turn for the worse when the group begin to question the identity of the strange little boy...
