Our 7W 400 lumen LED light bulb is equipped with a SMD5730 chip and a 2200mA rechargeable battery that allows the device to switch on automatically when there is a power outage.
These bulbs keep bright for 4 hours when there is a power outage. The light bulb has a built in sensor to determine the state of the switch and will automatically stay on if there is load shedding or a power outage and the light switch is in the 'ON' position. It has a 2200mA battery and when it is fully charged can burn brightly for upto 4 hours. It needs a 6 hour charging time to restore it to its full brightness. When using the light bulb for the first few times it may flash or flicker and only stay on for an hour or two. It is not faulty. The battery is building up 'storage memory'. Please use it and recharge the battery at least 3 or 4 times for the first 2 - 3 days.
