The Letters of Lady Anne Barnard Written to Henry Dundas from the Cape of Good Hope 1793-1803
Lady Anne Barnard (1850-1925) was born in Scotland, and married Andrew Barnard, a son of the Bishop of Limerick. The couple moved to Cape Town in 1797, where Lady Barnard remained for 5 years. This volume is edited with an introduction and notes by A. M. Lewin Robinson, and contains one hundred illustrations and a panorama of Cape Town.
