Hardcover published by Duckworth, re-issued reprint, 1910, no jacket. The boards are clean and square, with some wear to edges,and minor marks to the faces. A sheaf of four pages comprising the half-title pages, frontispiece portrait, tissue guard and title-page is completely loose and separated from the body of the book. Consequently, the vertical edges of these pages are chipped and worn. There is some foxing / spotting to the external page edges, and the signature of a previous owner on the title page, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.
