The link to success - Peter Charles

The Link concentrates on the success of any organisation and it should be noted that the term organisation applies to a business, a family, a state department, a political party, a church, an educational institution, a sports team, a farming organisation etc.

The leaders in organisations such as these often refer to the principles that make up The Link and honestly believe that their organisation applies them. Unfortunately when one evaluates the performance of individuals in many of these organisations it is obvious that this is not the case. An analysis of human behaviour will indicate that many people fail to practice what they preach. They have an unfortunate tendency to conform to, and become conditioned by the prevailing circumstances and as a consequence compromise their standards.

We have only to consider the number of failed marriages, the increasing number of teenagers taking drugs, the poor performance of many businesses, the behaviour of students at certain Universities, the violence and fraud around the world and the poor service we so often encounter in everyday life to appreciate this fact. These and other relevant factors encouraged me to formulate The Link. Although many of the examples in this publication relate to a business, the principles are equally applicable to all organisations.
