11th impression of the UK edition from 1977. This translation by Michael Meyer was first published by Norstedt & Sons in February 1954. This edition was printed in the UK by Collins but the publisher is given as Norsted, Stockholm. Originally published in Swedish in two parts in 1941 and 1945. The first part was translated into English by Barrows Mussey as Red Orm in 1943. This later translation by Michael Meyer brought the two parts together under the title The Long Ships.
