Published by C. V. Mosby Co., St Louis. 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. Orange  cloth, black  titles  to  the  front  board  and  the  spine. Octavo. Hard-cover. A  near  fine  copy  in  the  very  SCARCE  dust-jacket. The  dust-jacket  is  very  good  +.. 347  pp. With  more  than  two  hundred  illustrations  from  photographs  made  by  the  author. Maps  to  end-papers. Small  ink  name  of  a  previous  owner  on  the  front, free, end-paper. Spine  of  the  dust-jacket  is  slightly  faded. All  folds  of  the  dust-jacket  rubbed. Some  slight  loss  to  the  dust-jacket  at  the  head  and  base  of  the  spine  of  the  dust-jacket. One  chip  (2  centimetre  x  3  centimetres)  to  the  bottom  corner  of  the  rear  panel  of  the  dust-jacket.

"The author and his son proceeded on a long journey to Tanganykia for a wide variety of game before heading to the hunting fields of southeast Asia. In  the  Muthianga  Hills, elephant  and  buffalo  were  bagged, with  numerous  rhinoceros  taken  in  the  Endowash  area.
