This is publication no 1 in the race relations series of the Sub-Department of Colour Affairs, Department of the Interior, Union of South Africa. 91 Pages of text plus 14 colour plates and 188 photographs and reproductions of paintings and old prints. Photographs by J. Lückhoff and E. van Zyl Hofmeyr. The green linen boards have gold lettering at the front and to the spine. The top corners are bumped. The top corners of last number of pages also bumped (see photograph as part of the description). The top of the d/j has tears and is crumpled. Damage to top of spine. Also some damage to fold of back fold. Very little paper loss (see photograph). Now covered with a removable plastic film.  No shipping overseas.
