Hard Cover, Aqua/turquoise Paper covered boards, Gilt title & author on a red spine label, bumped at corners, top corner of back board has a small chip, otherwise boards are exceptionally clean with no fading. End papers clean, NO marks or inscriptions, like new. Text block is clean as new. Book condition, good. Dust Wrapper, faded at spine, has been strengthened with masking tape at head and tail of spine, some chips and small closed tears (6mm), a good dust jacket.  Volume 2 of the author's autobiography the first being 'The Flame Trees of Thika'.
