Boards clean and bright. Very light rubbing to lower edges only--not scuffed. Corners very lightly rubbed but sharp. Spine intact, gilt lettering intact, bright.

Front free endpaper removed--but the binding remains tight between half title, pastedown and rest of text block.

Text block itself tight and complete, no loose or missing pages. No tears.

Light foxing, heavier tanning to endpapers with previous owner name stamp on pastedown, front and rear same. Light tanning verso of half-title; tanning and foxing recto r.f. endpaper and opposite. Light foxing and yellowing pp. 6-9--especially p. 7 across entire page; thereafter only two instances of very light specs of foxing in entire text block. Light foxing to head and heel of text block; mild isolated foxing on fore edge affects very edges of pages only.

Previous owner's name rubberstamped in lower margin p. 24, Otherwise clean--no underlining, no highlighting, no annotations or marginalia in text block.

Dust Jacket condition: Very Good. Not price clipped. Light shelf wear. Front, back and spine reasonably clean with light foxing to top edge of front cover, couple of isolated brown spots on spine and rear; browing of paper edge around spine head and heel, light scuffing to the hinge at head of jacket spine. Light scuffing at lower corner of front cover at the hinge, light ding to hinge, with some foxing. Light scuffing with tiny tear to top corner of back cover at theĀ  hinge. Heavier foxing and tanning on flaps, front and rear. Isolated foxing on inside of cover.
