Good condition: tightly bound and clean. 
This late 18th century building has seen use as a lodging house, army and navy barracks as well as an emergency hospital for British troops and Boer POW's from Bellevue Camp.

- Widow Hurter's lodging house / Annex to the noble / Hospital during the Anglo Boer War / An army barracks through the two World Wars. Today the building has been restored and serves once more as a senior naval residence.
