The book contains the famous classic story of "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan and overall it is quite a handsome volume with a gold coloured gilt pattern imprinted on the front dark blue cover and gilt writing on the spine. The illustrations are charming for a book such as this.

Book Condition: Good and well preserved, pages are lightly foxed and edges are dust marked. The outside cover and inner covers have been reinforced with tape - black and or silver at some stage so the book is nicely protected inside, the spine is quite faded and shows shelf wear.
No inscriptions, 408 pages, condition pre-owned, page 291- 294 edges damaged (see photo), some darker marks are evident on some of the pages and there is some traces of fish moth channels and tiny holes. In the introduction page ix has old tape ( brown) on the top edge, where it was fixed as the page had a tear.
