Used - Very Good. Hamish Hamilton, London, 1968. Hard Cover.

Book in a monograph series on English regimental history, where, in addition to reviewing war historical facts, emphasis is placed on presenting the special spirit of the regiment. The first of the books were published in London by the publisher Hamish Hamilton 1967-1968, and books 1969-1984 and new editions 1983 onwards of the first published were published by the publisher Leo Cooper and for some of the publications in collaboration with the publisher Martin Secker & Warburg . The book's illustrations come from from the regimental museums, and a large part of the books are written by military personnel who took part in the Second World War. Editor Brian Horrocks introduces the series.
