 The Science & Practice of Welding, Davies, A. C. Published by Cambridge University Press (1947), 3rd revised edition.

Hardcover, pages size approx 125 mm x 190 mm, 446 pages incl index.
 
Inside on the back cover there is a pocket and in it is 2 very large pages with fig 327. A fully dimensional drawing of a combined transformer plate and tank fabricated by arc welding and illustrates most of the features mentioned in preceding pages. The second diagram is Pedestal & Cap for Roller Brg. 
Condition: Good acceptable, a definite collectors item. Binding strong, pages are tanned, cover is scuffed and faded and the very top edge of the spine cover appears to have been clipped short. The book inside is clean and neat.

Swop shop stamp and price inside front cover and first advert page. Poor condition the cover but the book itself is good and clean and binding is strong, pages are only lightly tanned, book is 102 pages with an add-on section titled Pitman's Primers and another add-on titled An abridged list of Technical Books published by Sir Isaac Pitman & Sons, Ltd. This last section's pages are damaged around the edges as is the back cover, seems like they were gnawed and there is a water stain on a few of the back pages along the edges in the add-on section.
