The Search For The Tassili Frescoes - By Henri Lhote

 Hardcover, first English edition published by Hutchinson, 1959. The jacket is much worn and torn, with some loss to the spine, which is also sunned. The decorative boards are clean and square, with light wear and bumping to some edges. Internally, the first end-paper has the name of a previous owner written in pen, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. Illustrated with black and white photographs and sketches, as well as fold-out colour reproductions of large sections of frescoes. There is some netting showing through the seam of the rear paste down.
