This is the scarce first edition to be illustrated by Ernest Shepard ( the original illustrator for A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin etc. ). Silver indented illustrations by Shepard on green cloth front board and spine. Foxing on edges and outer leaves but leaves are largely clean Prize plate on front free endpaper.
