The Silver Thing is a most unusual decor item

Introducing the 'Silver Thing'.

We didn't know what this wood pattern mould was made for, when we named it. We've since found out it is cam toggle in a  gearbox for some mine equipment, called a James Table.

We think it's quite extraordinary.  As it sits on a shelf, or on a coffee table, it will draw eyes and spark questions.

It's an unusual decor item, to say the least.
