Hardcover first published in 1964 by Eyre and Spottiswoode. The jacket is whole, but marked in places, with some wear to the edges, a short tape-repaired tear to the bottom edge, and some wrinkling of the plastic lamination of the jacket. The blue cloth boards with gilt titling are clean, with minor shelf-wear to the edges, and the spine is slightly cocked. Apart from some sporadic spotting to the top external page edges, the pages are clean and unmarked. Author dedication to a previous owner on the first end-paper.
