       This journal ran for 18 numbers when its policy of including law reports which incidentally showed the Governor, Lord Charles Somerset and his colonial administration in a bad light, led to a clash between Somerset and the proprietor. Before issue #18 was published, the Fiscal at the Cape insisted on first approving the proof-sheets of the newspaper before allowing publication.
