I took the Bible and began to read, with tears coming down. I had hardly finished two verses when the Lord of the New Testament came into the cell. What I never expected happened. Jesus entered into this miserable heart of mine, and it was too good for me to believe it. Jesus kept saying, 'I love you,' and I kept shaking my head and saying, 'You cannot love me; I hate myself.' And He said, 'I love you; I died for you.' 'But I want to die.' 'You need not die, because I died for you.'
