Czech (Kenneth) An Annotated Bibliography of Big Game Hunting Books 1785 1999page 208: 'The authors provide information to newcomers to South Africa to prepare them for the types of game to be encountered, as well as their regions and habitat. While much of the work is natural history oriented, there is still a substantial dash of hunting experiences related by the pair'.
