The Story Of Cecil Rhodes - Central African Rhodes Centenary Exhibition 1953

 Softcover published 1953 by the Central African Rhodes Centenary Exhibition, of which this is the "Descriptive Souvenir and Catalogue". The Full title is The Story Of Cecil Rhodes, Set out in a Series of Historical Pictures and Objects to commemorate the Centenary of his Birth 1853-1953. A removable card jacket slightly shorter than the book, carrying the logo of the exhibition, covers the wraps. This jacket is lightly soiled and worn, with several small chips and tears. The wraps of the book itself are well protected by the jacket except where the shorter length of the jacket has exposed the top and bottom of the wraps. The head and foot of the spine have small tears, and the edges are lightly worn and soiled. There is some foxing to the first and last few pages, otherwise internally all others are clean.
