Provenance: This copy was given as a personal presentation copy to "His Worship, The Mayor", with compliments of the South Africa Branch Office, 40 Burg Street, Cape Town, as witnessed by a written greeting and stamp inside front free end paper. 


The South Africa Newspaper was established in 1889 and touted itself as "The great authority on South African Gold Mining".
