The top quarter of the front endpaper has been cut off. Some foxing (mostly light) to first and last few pages otherwise rest of the book is in good condition. Colour plate (illustration) to frontispiece, of Joan of Arc. Other B&W illustrations in book. Published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1907 - I assume first edition
